Poem: The Meaning of Tomorrow

What is the meaning of tomorrow?
But a day that is yet to come.
Whether it brings joy or sadness
it remains to be seen or sung.

What is the meaning of tomorrow?
But a time that is out of reach.
There could be hopes and dreams and promises,
or a time that feels like an unfulfilling sleep.

What is the meaning of tomorrow?
But something that we can’t always know.
Come what may, come forth, come hither
to distances you plan to go.

What is the meaning of tomorrow?
But a time to let go of yesterday.
Forget about the long gone sorrow
and prepare for things that are coming today.

What is the meaning of tomorrow?
It is simply how you define it.
With a troubled heart or a rested mind
tomorrow finds you, come rain, come shine.
